Research Images and Meaning's

Artwork -

Street art is widly known everywhere,this for example is a creative piece of street art covering an entre building, making the art fun and attractive.

Banksy art is very known on the streets of Bristol, this person captures the bad in the world and publises it into art, this is a favourt art known for the roits, that children started them.

Pop art is very known. This is a known piece of Marilin Monro, created into different colours. Pop art is known for it's odd colour select of different objects.

Pop art was used feqently used in cartoon magazines too, coloured in with tiny dots to make a 3D diamiter look.

This is a known painting of dogs gambling with drinks and cigaretts. This stands out as the dogs replace men, showing how men are "dogs" when they do filthy habbits such as this, creating a rememberal concept.

A known painting done by Vincent Van Goth, creating think layers of coloured paint to give it that textured look. Vincent created unusal looks to his painting but visulising what the world would really look like.





Good Exaples of Design -

This is a design that changed the world, Apple created a series of new technoligy that changed how we did things in life. The i Phone created a new WiFi connection worldwide with high tech touch screen technoigy.

Cameras helped us capture those images of history, from gun powder to mega pixle capture technigy! Canon has a long line of devolped cameras, these cameras have different lenses to help capture the right image.

A record player is the first object to help play music, this soon devolped into CD players and downloads. This is the best vintige player of all time.

Comptures have been through many designs, these are used for storing personal information, browing the internet and sharing with friends. These have now devolped further into Macs or Windows these days.

The steam train was one of the first modes of transport for us as people. Running off steam, trains have now developed further into electric and even solar.

The Modle T Ford was one of the first cars invented, one of the most wide spread transport all around the world.





Historical Images -

Cave painting are known to be the first pieces of art done on this Earth. These art can tell a lot about what us as humans were like back in the past. This shows people shooting arrows at animals, more than likely for food and clothing.

This is a picture of the known Titanc. This is known historical image when the time of the first proper curise ship set sell, only to crash, bring many to their death. The Titanc is still below the sea to this day.

This image was taken in WW1, when many people died through this war. This shows two soliders running forward towards explosions holding guns. More than likely comfunting the enemie.

This is a image taken when the tsuniam tragicly hit Japan, killing many people and distroying many homes. As this image shows a son and father in their home town, seeing what has been left.

An image of the first moon landing which changed the way us as humanity look at the world. We have found so much within such little time, finding how our world works and how we can manage it.

This is an image that changed the face of woman to have the freedom of speech and rights to vote. The sufregetts were were what helped changed how woman were see, only I hoped it was done in a different way, as lives were lost though it.






Interactive Media -

These adverts are always shown through the interent, this is to promot the company Virgin Media. This is the best way to show adverts through website that are regarly used.

This ad makes it seem calm and relaxing, giving off the message that this holiday compay can set you to a destination like this. Making it look simple and plain makes it not look too fussing.

Another holiday company showing what you may have if you join, including that you travel near seas and beaches making this whole advert look relaxing, new and fun.

This is a plain ad for Barclay's, showing their rewards which is clearly a holiday, making people want to see what it's about, knowing that they can save money while getting rewards.

This advert is using the concept of the big bang to sell their company, making the internet connection sound new and fast for everyone to use.

This is a plain ad to show it's tital and slogan, making it look noraml, plain and simple to give it's message quicker.









Media, Advertising and Propaganda -

This is simple advert, making it quick thinking and sell worthy.

This is the known poster during the World War, promoting men to join the war. It's known that if you didn't join, you would be classes a cowered for the rest of your life. Unfortunality, those who did join, never came home.

This is an ad to perswad those to join the Army, creating just a plain ad makes it straight to the point.

This advert was promoted to women during the war to get them into jobs. This was work such as weapon building ect, to help the men at war.

Adverts are everywhere, such as this where it's in the London Underground. These are in everyday places that people will fequently go so it's seen and promoted more.

Adverts are even in papers and magazines, making ads impossible to get away from! Most adverts and in these reading matterals to help promote themselves and the paper/magazine.









Scientific Images or Optical Illusions -

Optical illusion is were a load of images are made into one, to make it many images, this is a load of pictures of cats to make one cat head.

This is a spooky image of a woman, a skull and a building. Creating this hunted look within many images.

This is a morthed image of a seal and polar bear, creating this simple image.

This optical illusion is amazing! Creating this simple effect on grounds through strange angles and colour technecs, you can create this simple and effective image, were when a picture is taken, it makes it look like you are interactiving with it.

This is another amazing image, creating the right angle makes it look like this illusion really is going to let the man dive in.

A simple paining of two people facing one another, which creates three faces.







Urban Signs and Symbols -

This sign is used to spread a warning of safty or that you do not have promising to enter. This would make me avoid this sign.

This street sign will tell me that I am not meant to go further on this road or that it's for safty meaning.

This is the Yin and Yang symbol of Budisum, where it represent the opposite of everything. Such as man and woman, day and night ect.

The peace sign was widely known during the 60's as a symbol of love and guiddence during the time when things were down.

This is a simple sign to show this is used of the disabled, this is either for parking or the toilets, a simple sign to help you recognise that this is not or is the catorgary for you.

This danger sign shows that you would stay clear, that this can cause damge.

Storyboard, 200 Word

Nicole Jefferies – 200 words, inspiration

This one is not so exciting, it has proven hard to find videos that go with a coke prank – Thinking of one is hard as I find them banned! But found this one so far, it’s only a few seconds of the clip but it will do. It’s a nice low angel but it doesn’t look dominating, as it seems it’s a “spy camera”. It’s quick and simple to show what is happening, why the prank was made – To keep them away from other peoples fizzy drink. It’s a very simple video, simple shot, simple surroundings – Just a kitchen. This one was pretty good, I like the humour and unnecessary mayhem. It has a lot of shots from all angels, they use a lot of establishing and looking up at the character shots.  Close ups and behind the head shots are used a lot too. I think they have edited it together nicely, it’s weird but it makes sense at the same time, they have made the sequence more believable but stupid at the same time.  You can tell that it’s not professional editing, it’s just at our standard, I think that’s what inspires me more that it’s something we can achieve ourselves. Where it is set works well with the situation too, simple dining area for students with vending machines, loads of chairs and tables so when the dramatic bit comes, (pushing through the chairs) it makes it entertaining with the character to get through, but you also feel the tension.  - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-s6q_BtN7Q4

Sequence - Going to do the filming over the time I'm off, which is Thursday and Friday and then the week after edit it. 

Rhythm

Regular -

This image has a use of uniqueness to it, it looks the same throughout the pattern yet it's not in a complete straight line. You can see the knots and twists in it which makes the image look more interesting.
At the same time of it looking interesting, the image gets quite boring after a while, and loses it's interest. 

The angle and the shaping of this image gives it an intriguing    and beauty to it, this angle shows that the shapes carved into the doorway is continuous. 
I do find regular rhythm a bit boring, so it's not that I don't like anything about it, it's the fact that there is just not that much going on.












Flowing -

I like this image for it's colour, it fades from light to dark through showing some slight movement.
It does look a bit fussy for just one simple image. 

This was an interesting image to look at, it looks at movement in the human body, with makes it interesting in how it's been drawn by the artist. 
It was a bit confusing at first, I did not know what the image was! But after a quick look it's just how the artist has portrayed the body. 






Progressive -

 This was a strange image! But it shows grow through nature and human. Through a tree and hand, it was an interesting piece of work. 
I found it quite creepy in a way, not an image I would like to look at all the time! 

I found this image very interesting as it shows the movement of a character in each moving step. 
What I don't get on with... Not the biggest fan of The Flash! 










Drawing Rhythm -

These are the two images I have been working on with Rhythm, I find the first one more of Flowing and Progressive as I have a movement to it, plus it has a development to it. What I like about it is that it's different, plus it's so random, I did not know what to draw! I find it a bit fussy... But I guess that's the whole point in Art! 

 This is more a regular rhythm, as it's a continues pattern, I find it a nice layout as the colours make it interesting, but it is quite boring.
